1. Budget? 2. Do you want single or dual tips? 3. It probably comes down to personal preference?I’ve always thought BB was the gold standard. Sounded great on my NA. Put it on in 1997 and still looks brand new underneath ( albeit the car hasn’t been driven in quite some time ) My 93 TT has 3” DP’s into 3” tapering to 2.5” HFC’s ( high flow cats ) into 2.5” BB. Sounds good. Not aggressive enough for me. But does sound appropriate and clean for the car. My 92 has 3” DP’s into a 3” tapering to 2.5” TP’s (test pipes ) into 2.5 La Bree exhaist. Sounds good. But I’ve only driven the car 1x since getting it ( in shop getting 120k ). But once it’s back I’m anxious to hear it WOT. Have you upgraded your down pipes? Did you get 2.5” or 3” DP’s? If you didn’t do down pipes might make more sense going with 2.5” Someone please chime in if I’m wrong.
